Houseplants

Houseplants are plants that tolerate indoor light, container roots, and household temperatures. Many are tropical understory plants, epiphytes, or drought-adapted plants.

Light is the limiting factor indoors. Plants sold as low-light tolerant still grow better near a window or under a grow light. Watering should follow the potting mix and root system, not a fixed weekly schedule.
